Chemically inert, highly heat-resistant, highly electrically insulating, low vapor pressing and fire-resistant; has had wide broad usages, including insulating oil in transformers and condensers, thermo-exchange fluid and additives into paint or plastics, etc.
In Korea, chemicals are administered and controlled, under the three categories:
-Pesticides by the Pesticides Control Act;
-By-products by the Refuse Control Act;
-Industrial chemicals by the Toxics Control Act.
